Water Hyacinth ChildSafe Community Experience
Siem Reap | Half Day
4 to 4.5 hours | Groups of 4 or more: 40 USD/Person
This Experience is led by a ChildSafe Agent teacher alongside local women from Chong Kneas, a floating village community. The Experience Leader, plus a staff member from Kalyan Mith, the Friends-International Siem Reap program, also support.
You will learn how to weave Water Hyacinth to create Key Rings or Coasters in a local house, where all necessary materials are provided.
By the end of the session, everyone will take home their own unique handmade creation. Afterwards, explore the village with a local guide to learn about daily life in Chong Kneas, then take a Tuk-Tuk to visit a Lotus farm before returning to town.

Starting off with we will do Meet-and-Greet, and Introduction. After this, we will have a tour to Chong Kneas and learn to make Key Rings or Coaster from Water Hyacinth.
