Flavors & Sights Journey

Phnom Penh | Full day

7.5 hours | Small groups (max 12)

This full-day journey blends cultural discovery, hands-on learning, and meaningful impact—inviting you to explore the capital through a ChildSafe lens.

Begin with an eye-opening presentation from Mith Samlanh / Friends, and you will find out just -how ethical travel helps protect children and strengthen families.

Then hop aboard a tuk-tuk and venture beyond the postcard views. Guided by locals, you will gain insight into Phnom Penh’s rich culture, complex history, and inspiring community-led efforts to create safer futures for children.

Afterwards, enjoy a delicious lunch at Friends The Restaurant, one of our popular vocational training restaurants—where every bite supports young people building careers in hospitality.

Then head into the kitchen at F3 for an immersive cooking Experience led by professional chefs and their trainees. You will prepare three traditional Khmer dishes using local ingredients, learn the stories behind each recipe, and take home an e-cookbook so you can continue your journey at home.

Whether you're a foodie, a curious traveler, or a purpose-driven explorer, this Experience offers a flavorful way to connect with Cambodia—while contributing to lasting, child-focused impact.
